"Bicyclists are impeding traffic!"

The impeding traffic statute is only applicable to motor vehicles. E-bikes are also considered bicycles, not motor vehicles, under ORS 814.405 and aren't applicable as well. Often drivers forget that it's a speed limit, while also forgetting that golf carts, registered offroad vehicles, tractors, and more frequently drive under the limit, but they only get upset when it's a cyclist.

Moral Law: It's funny how people using a 4000lb steel bedroom with 2 motorized armchairs, a sofa, 4 suspension assemblies, and 50 litres of liquid storage to move their 150lb self 5-10 miles say that cyclists cause traffic. Common sense and physics dictate the inverse. It's also odd how cyclists without cars subsidize car infrastructure and are literally offered rebates by the government to buy bikes, yet we're hypocritically criticized for not paying "road tax" when it's further from the truth.
